Kostanay's entrepreneurs were told about the rules of entering new markets

How to export goods to Europe and other countries, where to look for export partners and how to prepare your business for export activities? The speakers at the seminar for entrepreneurs in Kostanay answered to these and other questions.

The International Trade Center together with JSC "Center for Trade Policy Development "QazTrade" with support of the European Union is holding a series of training courses on export and international trade for small and medium businesses. As part of the Ready4Trade Central Asia project, Kazakhstani entrepreneurs study specifics of export-oriented businesses and international trade rules, learn where to obtain the necessary certificates and how to start entering new markets.

Four main topics such as International Trade Regulations, Export Process, EU Market Requirements, and Quality and Compliance were discussed at the seminars.

"Our company exports agricultural products to Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Afghanistan. Despite my existing experience in export, I received a lot of new information at the seminar, a list of useful contacts and internet resources to help exporters", shared a representative of Kaz Agro Trans Company LLP, a participant of the two-day training in Kostanay.

In addition, trainers told entrepreneurs about the work of Kazakhstan's trade portal tradeinfo.kz, had launched in July 2022. The National Trade Facilitation Portal describes in detail all the steps necessary to carry out export-import activities and transit of goods. The portal contains information for potential importers and exporters in 50 trade groups, as well as a list of required documents and forms.

The next courses for exporters are scheduled for Jan. 31 in Astana.
