The Export Knowledge Marathon for the academic community was launched by the QazTrade Academy. The online training took place over seven days on the QazTrade Academy educational platform.

The pilot initiative engaged professors and students from ten universities across Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan, alongside theoretical experts and active entrepreneurs from the broader Central Asian region. Exploring the delivery of webinars for both present and aspiring professionals in the realm of foreign economic activities, the primary objective of the marathon was to foster academic networking among Central Asian countries. Ainur Amirbekova, the head of QazTrade Academy, emphasized that the overarching aim was to enhance entrepreneurs' understanding of export regulations through a dedicated educational platform.

The training covered several key topics simultaneously: international trade rules, principles of export activities, European Union market requirements, certification in the field of quality and product compliance. In addition, participants in the online marathon had the opportunity to delve into the intricacies of exporting food products to Europe, learn about optimal automotive and transit routes for delivering goods to foreign markets. Separate sections were dedicated to the customs and currency control processes in Uzbekistan.

TA total of 118 individuals registered to take part in the knowledge marathon and received certificates upon successfully completing eight modular courses. In 2022, QazTrade launched an informative and educational course on foreign trade rules tailored for small and medium-sized businesses, with the backing of the International Trade Center. The training was delivered through both online sessions on the QazTradeAcademy platform and in-person sessions guided by professional instructors. Throughout this period, 3000 participants gained valuable insights into export management.

The educational program has become part of the four-year project Ready4Trade Central Asia, funded by the European Union and implemented in the territories of five Central Asian states: Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan.
