QazTrade experts answered entrepreneurs' questions at the training in Astana

How can Kazakhstani enterprises determine the capacity of foreign markets? Such an urgent question was voiced by business representatives in Astana at a two-day seminar on exports.

The training for businessmen was conducted by specialists of the Trade Policy Center "QazTrade" in cooperation with the Ministry of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan as part of the project "Ready4Trade Central Asia".

Educational project is implemented in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. Its main goal is to fill the information vacuum of beginner exporters of non-resource products and services, to help them properly build their business processes and prepare for entry into international markets.

The offline training includes 15 topics relevant to exporters in four areas: International Trade Regulations, Export Procedures, EU Market Requirements, and Quality and Compliance Standards.

During the training, entrepreneurs have the opportunity to get comprehensive answers to their questions from experienced trainers and experts in the field of trade. Thus, representatives of small and medium-sized businesses were interested in methods of determining the capacity of foreign markets, regulatory rules in foreign countries, as well as sources with relevant information on certification, standards and requirements of potential partner countries.

Training participants were offered to use such resources as QazTradeAcademy.kz educational platform, Tradeinfo.kz information portal on trade facilitation.

It is planned to hold 12 field seminars for entrepreneurs in 10 cities of Kazakhstan. The next training will take place in Pavlodar on February 7-8, 2023.
