Two-day free training courses on export and international trade for representatives of micro, small and medium-sized businesses were held in Karaganda.
At the courses developed by the International Trade Center jointly with QazTrade JSC and funded by the European Union under the Ready4Trade Central Asia project, entrepreneurs learned how to export goods from Kazakhstan to Europe and other countries, how to properly prepare their business for export activities, where to get the necessary certificates and other important aspects of international trade. Training covers 4 main topics: International Trade Rules, Export Process, EU Market Requirements, Quality and Compliance.
In addition, trainers informed entrepreneurs about the work of the Kazakhstan trade portal tradeinfo.kz, launched in July 2022. The National Trade Facilitation Portal describes all the steps necessary for the implementation of export-import activities and the transit of goods in detail. The portal contains information for potential importers and exporters on 50 trade groups, as well as a list of required documents and forms.
About 20 representatives of business, government agencies, the Chamber of Entrepreneurs and educational institutions took part in the training seminar.
